Baptism!

Saturday was a beautiful day. I started it out with my Dad going to Aspyns Baptism in Herriman, spending some time with my Brothers Montes' Family. Aspyn was glowing and beautiful in her new white dress. She gave out so many hugs I am not sure if there are any left in the whole of Herriman. Just kidding about there not being any hugs left, but she did pass around several. This has been a special year, I have gained a greater understanding of the principle of Baptism and enjoy being present at a baptism, although we have not been able to make all of them, our thought and prayers have been with these great little people on their special days. We send a big congrats and hugs to: Noa, Wyatt, BradyLee, Braden and any others we should have been to but were unable to attend.
Saturday afthernoon we spent in the Temple, assisting the Patrons in the Baptistry. What a joy this has been in our lives. We have met some very special people that we see and work side by side with everyweek, and some very special people that drop by to visit almost every week.
Being in the Baptistry, our patrons are almost always the youth, They are so eager to help, to serve and to give of themselves, so blessed with the spirit and so very aware of what they are supposed to be doing with their lives.
These are not the youth of the world that we see on the News, although it would be much easier to watch if this kind of event was televised than the ones we see and hear about each evening. There is no anger, road rage, blood , (well maybe on occasion we might have a nose bleed). No hostile words of tensions and everyone wears a smile.
If you need to be uplifted or feel the spirit of these special youth please come with recommend in hand, feel free to visit us at The Jordan River Temple.
