Wednesday night we spent an hour at the Make a Wish House in Murray,
Adam received his wish to go to Disney World with his family.
This is a beautiful building, built with the comfort and enjoyment for children and their families, suffering from life threatening deseases. We were given a tour of the facility and shown the process by which the wishes are summited and granted. It was a very emotional night filled with the joy of knowing Adam is cancer free and a true survivor. It has been a very long year filled with chemo, radiation, nausea, no hair, home school, hospital days and most of all prayer. This has been one of those trials that comes upon you so suddenly you don't take time to think about it, you simply act and pray and hope that the outcome is good. I sure hope we passed this test, because I don't ever want to go thru this again, but I do know that until you learn to put your complete trust in our Heavenly Father and know that whatever the outcome, it will be Okay.
The Lloyds have been very blessed this time and we pray they will continue to reap the blessings of this special event in their lives. We especially want to thank them for letting us be a part of the trying time in their lives and allowing us to have the children in our home for the quiet and calm that they needed do get thru this. Don and I have been very blessed by the presence of these special children and their parents in our lives.
I want to thank each of you for your prayers. But most of all I want to thank each of you for the time you have given to us. Each one of you has contributed to the response we were able to give to the situation, because of the times you have shared with us in your lives. Thank you.
