We have been so very blessed to have the Rogers Family as part of our Family for the past twenty plus years.
We have been to Tee Ball and super league BaseBall games. PeeWee, Midget and Mighty Might Football right thru High School Football. We have watched as the boys matured through their participation in sports, community and church service.
We have watched as the girls have become more beautiful each year, have such sweet spirits and such special personalities.
Today was another of those milestones that needs to be recorded and remembered. We spent the morning with Sam, Jamie, Jordan and Jace. At the Draper Utah Temple. It was our first time attending a session at this new Temple. But today was made even more exciting by the fact that Jace has his mission call to Brazil he enters the MTC in March. Today he attended the Temple for his own endowments. Also attending were Tom and Glenda Lehmkuhl,(his grandparents,)and special friends, Cody Marchant and Nick Carter. Nick enters the MTC Wednesday of this week for his Mission in Paraquay.
What a great Day.
I was reminded as we entered the Temple early this morning what it is going to be like in Heaven, when the door was opened and we were greeted by someone calling us by our given name. It was my Cousin Ron Holt. But that is what it will be like to return home on that special day. when everyone will know us and we to will know them. The Gospel has given us such hope and Joy.
I love having the Temples so close and being able to know and recognize special people each time we attend. What a blessing the Temple is. What a blessing the Rogers have been in our lives. What a wonderful day. It might just be the season but today for me everything seems to be WONDERFUL!!
